Voyages Silky Oaks Lodge and Healing Waters Spa is an oasis of elegance and beauty on the edge of a World Heritage-listed wilderness area.

This rainforest retreat is in complete harmony with its lush tropical environment. Fifty stylishly furnished, private Treehouses and Riverhouses, each have wide verandahs and spa baths are just the spot to unwind and soak up the rainforest ambience.

The daily tariff includes breakfast, table d’hote four course dinner and some activities.

Voyages Silky Oaks Lodge provides the perfect base for exploring the wonders of Tropical North Queensland including day trips to the Great Barrier Reef, Cairns, Kuranda and the Atherton Tablelands.

The Lodge combines a soothing blend of contemporary design and casual sophistication, where the sights and sounds of the rainforest surround you. The Treehouse Restaurant takes full advantage of its extraordinary location perched high above the Mossman River, with a superb menu showcasing the finest quality fresh produce.

Accommodation Options

Treehouse

Set into the rainforest and surrounded by lush gardens, these beautiful timber Treehouses have been carefully designed to offer privacy and maximum comfort. They have an understated tropical style with natural tones and timbers used to create a relaxed, soothing living space. Floor to ceiling glass doors open onto a wide verandah where a hammock is perfectly positioned to make the most of picturesque views. Air-conditioned, interiors are spacious and attractively furnished with a range of contemporary comforts including a daybed.

Riverhouse

Set in prime riverfront location, spectacular rainforest views and the soothing sounds of the Mossman River are key designer elements of the five premium Riverhouses. Generously spacious, with polished timber floors and elegant interiors, room appointments are stylish and comfortable. An oversized spa bath, with uninterrupted rainforest views, is one of the many special inclusions offered in addition to standard room features, which include a daybed. Riverhouse guests also enjoy premium sparkling wine and a deluxe tropical fruit basket on arrival.
