Sunset Top Tourist Park Mount Isa, Mount Isa

Sunset is a mainly tourist park situated 1.6 kilometres from the city centre in a quiet location off the highway. Accommodation is all ensuited and air conditioned, and bedding ranges from two single beds up to family villas for seven people. All cabins have kitchen facilities and televisions, and the range caters for all family sizes and all budgets.

Your hosts will personally escort you to your accommodation and/or put your van on site for you if required. The sites are spacious and level – some grassed, some with slabs and most shaded by beautiful African Mahogany trees.

There is a free camp kitchen with fridge/freezer, microwave, domestic oven and stove, two barbecues, sinks and plenty of tables and seating. The salt water pool is covered, so it is refreshingly cool. Bubbling jets in the warm spa are ideal for relieving tired muscles or just to relax. The great children’s playground is new and will keep your children entertained for hours. The office/kiosk supplies all basic necessities: groceries, toiletries, confectionery, soft drinks, ice cream, meat, souvenirs, maps, postcards and more. There is also an internet kiosk and tour booking and information desk. Austar, DVDs and video players are provided in the air-conditioned television room, for use by all guests.

‘The Isa’ is an oasis in the rugged Australian Outback, surrounded by vast horizons where the land and sky seem to stretch forever. Mount Isa is a city where dusty, weary travellers will find all the creature comforts. Every mechanical, physical and personal necessity can be serviced in Mount Isa, yet the region is crammed with adventure. Discover a rich mining history, fascinating fossils, spectacular scenery and aboriginal art and culture.

Your hosts Don and Gayle welcome you to Sunset Top Tourist Park and invite you to enjoy their outback hospitality.
