Beaches Backpackers Airlie Beach, Airlie Beach

Beaches Backpackers is located in the heart of Airlie Beach, just across from the waterfront and Airlie Beach’s man-made lagoon swimming pool – making year round swimming possible. Beaches’ unique central position and popular bar and restaurant provides nightly entertainment and offers the best of Airlie’s famous nightlife.

The small coastal town in North Queensland is the gateway to the famous Whitsunday Islands and the World Heritage Listed Great Barrier Reef Marine Park. The unspoiled beauty of these 74 tropical islands can be experienced through a range of activities such as sailing, scuba diving, and snorkelling – it’s no wonder the Whitsundays is known as the greatest aquatic playground on earth!

The friendly team at Beaches are trained to give genuine advice and offer great deals on a range of sailing, diving adventures and day tour options.

The hostel offers five and six share dormitory rooms, all with single beds and no bunks! Each room has an ensuite bathroom, television, mini-fridge, air conditioning and private balcony. In addition to the dormitory rooms, there are a number of double rooms also available. All rooms are serviced on a daily basis.

At Beaches the guests can enjoy an extensive range of facilities including and on site internet centre, tour desk, bar and restaurant with nightly entertainment, tropical swimming pool, communal kitchen and lounge room, laundry and secure car park.
