Magnums Backpackers Airlie Beach, Airlie Beach

Magnums Airlie Beach is located within the Whitsunday Village Resort Complex and across the road from the Airlie Beach Lagoon in beautiful, tropical North Queensland.

Magnums offers budget accommodation. There are new double and twin bunk-bedded rooms with air-conditioning, bed linen, small fridge and tea and coffee making facilities between three rooms, set amidst tropical gardens. These rooms offer modern accommodation with verandahs. Delux dorms are eight share refurbished cabins with verandahs, ensuite bathroom, air-conditioning and small fridge.

There are two restaurants at the Village. The Village Deli is open for breakfast, delicious lunches and fresh juices, all day coffee and a tapas bar and restaurant of an evening. Mamma’s Boys Pizza and Pasta Bar is open for breakfast and right through until late for Pizzas, snacks and meals.

Magnums is the home of the Airlie Beach foam party, and has nightly entertainment on the boardwalk and outdoor beer garden. There are nightly musicians and party games, the nightclub ‘Mass’ opens till two in the morning and there are foam parties, wet T-shirt competitions, jelly wrestling, pole dancing, dance parties, trivia nights, mechanical bull and surfboard riding, pool competitions, happy hour nights, backpacker olympics, sumo wrestling and lots more.

Magnums also has a tour desk specializing in Whitsunday sailing and Fraser Island packages, dive courses, reef trips, Australia wide tour bookings, McCafferty’s and Premier Coaches, and many other trips.
