Carmor Plains Wildlife Reserve, Mary River ( Arnhem Highway)

Carmor Plains Wildlife Reserve is 100,000 acres of coastal wetlands and forests, 210 kilometres southeast of Darwin. The reserve is a photographer’s paradise. Wildlife such as crocodiles, kangaroos and wallabies can be seen. The terrain varies dramatically from scenic flood plains to open forests. Accommodation is in air conditioned cabins with ensuite bathrooms.

All meals are catered for in the dining area overlooking the vast flood plains. Carmor Plains Wildlife Reserve specialises in safari hunting for water buffalo, wild boar, geese and ducks. Transport to the game reserve can be by road or private air charter. Carmor Plains can arrange pick ups from the airport or your hotel direct to the game reserve.
