Crown Hotel Motel, Grafton

The Crown Hotel Motel is situated in the heart of Grafton on the banks of the mighty Clarence River, within walking distance of the CBD and shopping centre.

The hotel is a gracious old building, which has two bars. The Saloon Bar adjoins the bistro with superb views of the Clarence River. Patrons can relax with coffee and cake on the riverside terrace. The recently renovated ‘Cavern Bar’ opens Thursday to Saturday nights. Enjoy a cocktail upstairs or make your way to the dance floor to watch the band.

The beer garden overlooks the gardens of Memorial Park and has sweeping river views. It has plenty of seating and there is always a cool breeze during the warmer months.

The Crown Bistro overlooks the nature reserve of Susan Island and the beautiful Clarence River. Choose between dining on the terrace or indoors.

The terrace is a great vantage point to observe the spectacular mass departure of the flying fox colony from the Susan Island Rainforest at dusk each evening during summer.
