Ross River Resort, Ross River

Ross River Resort is an oasis in the East MacDonnell Ranges, 85 kilometres east of Alice Springs and set among beautiful leafy, tall trees providing cooling shade. On hot, humid days, take a dip in the inground saltwater pool with spa, all under sails to provide shade. The Resort has accommodation styles from camp sites to cabins, and the homestead has a fully licensed restaurant and bar catering for individual guests to functions and conferences. So for business or leisure, come and enjoy good old fashioned Ross River hospitality.

The Homestead has 30 Standard Room Cabins where 11 Cabins have recently been completely renovated with the remaining undergoing renovations. Each Cabin has its own bathroom and toilet, reverse cycle air conditioning, bar fridge, tea and coffee facilities.

Standard Room Cabin

Each cabin has reverse cycle air conditioning, bar fridge, tea and coffee facilities and with its own ensuite. There are no televisions or mobile phone coverage so just relax and enjoy the sounds of nature and the beauty of the surrounding East MacDonnell Ranges. Step out of your log cabin and take a dip in the sparkling saltwater inground pool.

Bunkhouse

Don’t want to pitch a tent or tow a caravan. Stay in the Ross River bunkhouse where there are 12 air conditioned units, each accommodating up to 4 people. Linen can also be supplied at an extra cost. Enjoy a beautiful setting in peace and quiet with friends or take time for reflection on your own and make plans to make your dreams come true.

Camp Site

Pitch your tent on a camp site abundant with beautiful tall trees providing great shade. The ablution block is equipped with with hot and cold showers, and there are barbecue facilitiies on the camp site. The Ross River campgrounds are all set amid a majestic range of mountains, where you can enjoy nature’s beauty and peace and quiet – time for reflection and recharge one’s energy.

Powered Site

Powered sites are available on the Ross River picturesque campgrounds where ther are many tall trees providing shelter. Barbecue facilitiies are available, as well as hot and cold showers. All are set amid a majestic range of mountains where you can enjoy the peace and quiet, listen to the many birds calling or visit many of the spectacular areas around the Ross River Resort.
