Guided Trail Riding

Horse riding is an enjoyable activity that helps improve fitness, balance, co-ordination and confidence. Trail rides are conducted through lovely undulating pastures with mountain streams and slopes of rain forest. Accredited instructors supervise the trail rides and groups are able to ride at a pace that suits their experience. Previous horse riding experience is not necessary as instruction is given prior to all rides. Children must be at least 10 years old but younger children can be catered for through leading in the round yard.

Horse Riding Lessons

All levels of riders are catered for from young beginners to high level competition. Most lessons for less experienced riders are conducted in small groups of four or five. Lessons work to a training plan that includes grooming and saddling, ground control, walk, trot and canter. Various exercises and activities are used to increase co-ordination and to let students experience the types of riding disciplines that may interest them. Lessons may also occasionally include a trail ride.
