EK 1 One Day Four Wheel Drive Bungle Bungle Tour Drive in / Drive out

Experience the extraordinary Bungles on this day tour departing from Warmun (Turkey Creek) Roadhouse at 0530. From here you will travel 54 kilometers along the Great Northern Highway to the Spring Creek turnoff. Although the following 54 kilometers of the Spring Creek Track are slow, taking two to three hours to reach the Bungles, it offers the traveler an opportunity to experience the morning glow of this unique landscape. Let your guide supply morning tea in a memorable location, allowing time to stretch the legs before continuing onwards to the Echidna Chasm trail. Here you will experience the Bungles enormity by being completely surrounded by their near vertical rock faces.
Enjoy a delicious buffet lunch at our Bellburn Bush Camp before traveling to the remarkable Cathedral Gorge trail. Be overwhelmed by the magnificent Beehive Domes exhibited on the trail towards the Cathedral’s amazing natural amphitheatre.
On return from this walk you will rejoin the four wheel drive and retrace the road to Warmun. At Calico Springs our guide will offer you afternoon tea and the opportunity to stretch your legs before arrival at the Roadhouse, scheduled for around 1830.

EK 2 One Night Two Days Bungle Bungle Four Wheel Drive Tour Drive in / Drive out

Experience the vastness and uniqueness of the Bungles with this overnight tour from Warmun (Turkey Creek). Day one will see you depart from Warmun Roadhouse at 0530 by four wheel drive. Enjoy the spectacular landscape while stopping once to capture this beauty with a morning tea break. On arrival at this extraordinary National Park you will transfer to another vehicle and then travel to the spectacular Northern Gorges and venture into Mini Palms and Echidna Chasm, enjoying a picnic lunch in a serene location between the two walks. Allow your guide to captivate you with their knowledge on the Bungle’s history and the local flora and fauna, while being enchanted by the absolute magnificence displayed by these two walks.
Late afternoon return to Bellburn Bush Camp and sit back and relax with refreshments in this unconventional outback Australia surrounding and watch a glorious sun set on another beautiful Kimberley day.
Follow this with dinner in an atmosphere which compliments the selection of lovely cuisine.

Day Two will see you rise to your choice of a delicious continental or cooked breakfast.
Departing early morning, you will tour the breathtaking Beehive Domes for which the Bungles are so famous. Witness the distinct landscape along the walk of Piccaninny Creek then walk on to Cathedral Gorge and be amazed by the natural beauty and brilliant acoustics found within the amphitheatre. Rejoin the four wheel drive at approximately 1430 for its return journey to Turkey Creek Roadhouse, arriving approximately 1830.

EKA 1 One Day Bungle Bungle Tour Fly in / Fly out

Our most popular tour, combining air and land.

Experience Kununurra, ‘the eastern gateway to the Kimberley’ and surroundings by air with a morning scenic flight over the renowned Ord Irrigation area, Carr-Boyd Ranges, Ord River and the impressive Lake Argyle. Upon landing in Purnululu National Park you will be welcomed by an East Kimberley Tours guide where you will transfer to an air-conditioned four wheel drive. On your travels to Cathedral Gorge let our guides recount the Bungles heritage and share nature’s hidden secrets. It is approximately 40 minutes drive to the heart of the Beehive domes and the start of the walk into the stunning Cathedral Gorge.
Relax in this shaded area and enjoy a memorable picnic lunch before returning on your walk to rejoin the four wheel drive. Travel to our Bellburn Bush Camp for afternoon tea then rejoin the aircraft to complete your afternoon scenic flight over the ancient Ragged Ranges and the open cut Argyle Diamond Mine.
This tour will see you picked up from your accommodation at approximately 0830, arriving back in Kununurra approximately 1700 (earlier departures applicable from October onwards).

EKA 2 One Night Two Days Bungle Bungle Tour Fly in / Fly out

Feel the vastness and diversity of the East Kimberley by enjoying an early morning scenic flight over Kununurra, the Diversion Dam, the Ord River, Lake Argyle and the mighty Osmond Ranges ending with an orbit around the Bungle Bungle Massif. On arrival at the Bungles you will transfer to an air-conditioned four wheel drive and travel to our comfortable Bellburn Bush Camp for your choice of a superb continental or cooked breakfast. You will then travel to the Northern Gorges while your guide entertains you with their knowledge of the Bungles’. While walking the Mini Palms trail, be taken aback by the incredible beauty exhibited by this enchanting area. Let your guide share their familiarity on the many species of flora and fauna and you will learn just how Mini Palms received its name. After a relaxing picnic lunch, enjoy a second walk through the distinct Echidna Chasm where you will be completely surrounded by the Bungles, with the only light filtering in from above. Return to Camp for a glorious sunset and refreshments with a fine choice of cuisine being served later in the evening.

Next morning after another enjoyable breakfast, travel to commence the Cathedral Gorge walk and see the Beehive Domes. Soak in the morning sun as you spend the day strolling throughout the domes area visiting various places of interest and beauty. Further on, see the amazing formation of a natural amphitheatre where you will experience an unforgettable picnic lunch. After returning to the four wheel drive our guide will transfer you to the airstrip where you will complete your scenic flight over the Ragged Ranges and Argyle Diamond Mine, the world’s largest diamond production.
This tour will see you picked up from your accommodation on day one approximately 0530, arriving back in Kununurra on day two at approximately 1700.

EKA 3 Two Night Bungle Bungle Stayover Fly in / Fly out

Become astounded by the East Kimberley’s majestic beauty with an early morning scenic flight over many incredible landforms. See the striking Bungles radiate in the morning sun before landing. After enjoying your choice of a scrumptious cooked or continental breakfast at our Bellburn Bush Camp, transfer to the Northern Gorges and spend the day walking into Mini Palms and be surprised by the survival of flora, especially those clinging high up on the near vertical rock faces. Relax in the shade with a picnic lunch and appreciate some of nature’s best artwork. The afternoon will see you experience Echidna Chasm, quite simply an exceptional groove sliced out of a rock face naturally. Throughout the day your guide will captivate you with knowledge on the Bungle legacy and ensure that come sunset you are relaxed and enjoying refreshments from a breath taking view. Afterward enjoy our tantalising smorgasbord in our distinct but casual ambience.

After breakfast, day two will see you visiting the famous icons of the Bungles, the Beehive Domes. These rock towers demonstrate sheer magnificence that words cannot truly serve justice. The turning point of Cathedral Gorge walk will see you enter an exceptional acoustic amphitheatre where you will experience a cherished picnic lunch. On completion of this walk you will once again have a glorious sunset and a stylish dining experience.
Day three will begin with a delicious breakfast and a morning completion of your scenic flight home over the extensive Ragged Ranges and Argyle Diamond Mine

EKA 2G One Day Two Gorge Bungle Bungle Tour Fly in / Fly out

Be prepared to appreciate the diversity of the Kimberley Region with a scenic flight offering unforgettable views of the Ord River, Ord Irrigation Area, Lake Argyle, Carr-Boyd ranges, Osmond Ranges, Cattle Country and the Bungles. Arrival will see you transferred to Bellburn Bush Camp for your choice of an excellent cooked or continental breakfast before continuing to the spectacular Northern Gorges Echidna Chasm Trail.
After being in awe of this Bungle beauty return to Bellburn Camp for a delicious buffet lunch. Rest and relax then travel to the Southern End to view the magnificent icons of the Bungles, Cathedral Gorge and the Beehive Domes. Throughout your day allow your guide to fascinate you with the Bungles heritage while having the opportunity to be captivated by their amazingly contrasting Northern and Southern Gorges before returning to the airstrip for you return scenic flight back to Kununurra.

EK 3 Two Night Three Days Bungle Bungle Four Wheel Drive Tour Drive in / Drive Out

Departing Kununurra approximately 0700 your drive to the Bungle Bungles will take you past rugged Kimberley scenes such as the Carr-Boyd, O’Donnell and Ragged Ranges. After a quick refreshment stop at Warmun (Turkey Creek) enjoy the spectacular landscape of the Spring Creek Track, the infamous road into the Bungles before stopping for lunch once you have reached the National Park. The afternoon will then see you mesmerized with the icons of the Bungles, the famed Beehive Domes and Cathedral Gorge with its amazing natural amphitheatre. During your adventure your guide will captivate you with knowledge on the Bungle heritage and ensure that come sunset you are relaxed and enjoying refreshments from a breath taking view.

Day two, arise to a delightful Australian morning, a continental breakfast and another day of impressive scenery. Travel to the Northern Gorges and spend the morning walking into Mini Palms. While walking the Mini Palms trail, be taken aback by the incredible beauty exhibited by this enchanting area. Let your guide share their familiarity on the many species of flora and fauna and you will learn just how Mini Palms received its name. Relax in the shade with a picnic lunch before continuing onwards to the Echidna Chasm trail. Here you will experience the Bungles enormity by being completely surrounded by their near vertical rock faces. On completion of this walk you will once again enjoy a glorious sunset and a peaceful night under a star filled sky.

Another beautiful morning follows with breakfast before departing for the return trip to Kununurra. A stop at Warmun and a packed picnic lunch will be served along the way. This tour will see you picked up from your accommodation on day one approximately 0645, arriving back in Kununurra on day three mid to late afternoon. It is a camping tour with tents and or swags but is available with tented cabin upgrades upon request.

BDM 2 Two Night Bungle Bungle and Diamond Mine Combination Fly in / Fly out

This tour will see you experience the itinerary for the EKA-3 for days one and two.

Day three will begin with a tasty breakfast followed by a scenic flight to the Argyle Diamond Mine. After orbiting the mine, begin with an informative mine tour on the diamond production process and see some of the famous Argyle Diamonds on display. You will be catered for with an excellent lunch and refreshments at Argyle’s staff village.

Arrive back in Kununurra is approximately 1600.
